In Germany, a 17-year-old teenager has been living on trains for a year and a half
Lasse Stolli from Germany left his parents’ home for a year and a half lives to the sound of wheels. He works as a programmer during the day and sleeps on trains at night.
The guy travels hundreds of kilometers a day in various directions. “I can decide every day where I want to go: to the Alps, to the city or to the sea,” he shares.
In a similar way, he managed to overcome over 500 thousand kilometers.
Lasse’s expenses are about 10 thousand euros per year. The bulk comes from the annual first class pass of the German railways.
He carefully calculates the time so as not to miss the night train and makes the most of the capabilities of his backpack.
