The silver medal at the Moscow and Moscow region autocross championship was won by 10-year-old racer from Voronezh Ivan Lapin. This was reported by the Voronezh-Ring Stadium on the VKontakte social network on Sunday, October 22.
This season, the young Voronezh athlete took part in races throughout Russia, consistently demonstrating high results. The championship in Moscow became an important stage in the sports career of the 10-year-old pilot. The student had to fight not only with rivals, but also with bad weather.
The final stages on the CSKA track to the village of Kalininets took place in heavy rain. The track, slippery from precipitation, complicated the race conditions – many athletes left the race, unable to cope with the weather conditions. Bad weather did not stop the young pilot from Voronezh – Ivan Lapin will take home a well-deserved “silver”.
Previously, Ivan Lapin was also part of the team that successfully performed at the Russian Championship. Then the team took third place.
