The Ministry of Education and Science has determined the new rules for entering universities

The Ministry of Education and Science is going to amend the procedure for admission of applicants who will study next year in bachelor’s, specialist’s and master’s programs.
As we already wrote, applicants from next year will apply to a maximum of five universities and a maximum of five specialties in each. Not ten, as it used to be. It is assumed that this will not change much in the lives of the guys, since according to statistics, no one chose ten directions. In addition, the reduction of specialties will allow school graduates to better determine the scope of their future professional activities and strengthen their preparation in the subjects necessary for passing exams.
Another innovation is the opportunity for applicants to simultaneously submit applications immediately to the budgetary and paid departments in the same specialty. It will also be necessary to indicate the priority areas of training and the specialty in which the young person will act.
The Ministry of Education and Science also determined the dates for accepting documents for state-funded places in all forms of education: the deadline for accepting documents is set from June 20 to July 25, additional admission – no later than August 29.
The new rules will come into force on March 1, 2023 and will be valid until September 1, 2027.
