Sports commentator Viktor Gusev and showman Sergei Svetlakov, who came to the Crocus City Hall for a concert of the Picnic group, were saved during the attack thanks to the actions of the concert hall employee Sofia Meyer. It was she who blocked the doors to all the boxes, told sports commentator.

That evening he was at Crocus City Hall with his wife, friend and son. Gusev noted that when the shooting started, the employee was not at a loss and led the audience up the stairs to the street to the sound of gunfire.

Gusev’s story largely coincided with the words of comedian Sergei Svetlakov, who was also among the spectators.
