Actor Mikhail Bogdasarov recently returned from filming in Vietnam and said that he had become familiar with the local cuisine. As a result, he is now losing weight by eating… cockroaches and other living creatures that are popular in some countries.
“Not long ago I was in Vietnam, in the city of Nha Trang. And there it was simply put on stream. We arrived, we had our first day of filming, then the translator brought us to the place where various dishes from grasshoppers and the like are most deliciously prepared. At first I was incredulous about what was happening. I didn’t yet have the habit of eating all this, and I thought that they would literally force me to eat the whole lunch, but after five minutes I forgot what I was eating, because it somehow went easily, and I felt some kind of extraordinary rush energy. But vodka with snake venom didn’t work,” Bogdasarov concluded.
He also said that even now, upon returning to Moscow, he himself periodically tries dried insects, which promote weight loss, and cookies made from cricket flour appear on his table, which he treats to his guests.
“If you don’t say what they’re made of, you can safely eat them, you won’t even think that they’re from insects,” the artist concluded.
