Athletes from Serpukhov won six medals at the All-Russian badminton competitions

On September 18-22, in the city of Ramenskoye, All-Russian competitions in the sport of persons with a defeat of the ODA (discipline – badminton) were held. Athletes from the urban district of Serpukhov took part in them.

The team included members of the physical culture and sports club for the disabled “Equal Opportunities”.

As a result of the competition, the Serpukhovites won six medals:

Elena Zhuravskaya:

1st place in the individual competition,

2nd place in the mixed category,

2nd place in doubles;

Polina Urazmatova:

2nd place in pairs

3rd place in the individual competition;

Vitaly Melanchenko:

3rd place in doubles.

In total, 70 badminton players from 13 subjects of the Russian Federation took part in the tournament.

The opening and awarding ceremonies were attended by the Deputy of the Moscow Regional Duma, a member of the United Russia faction, a Serpukhovich Tatyana Vladimirovna Karzubova.
