The first round of the Russian Volleyball Championship among the youth league teams of the 2023 season has started in Novy Urengoy. On the first game day, the owners of the site beat the athletes from the Samara region. This was reported on the website of the Novy Urengoy volleyball club Fakel.
On September 25, Fakel youth volleyball players met with the Nova-2 team from the Samara region. The match ended with the score 3:0 in favor of Yamal.
“It was the first official game of the season, and we immediately got an interesting opponent – new, still unknown. Therefore, I asked my guys before the game to pay attention to the analysis of the opponent, the guys completed the installation, so everything is fine, ”commented the head coach of the youth Fakel Roman Empolov.
On September 26, Novy Urengoy athletes will play with ASK-2 from Nizhny Novgorod.
Recall that last season at the Russian volleyball championship among the teams of the youth league, the Yamal “Fakel” won silver.
