Sambo wrestlers from Karelia became winners at the interregional tournament

Karelian sportsmen showed themselves excellently at the inter-regional sambo tournament, which was held in the Moscow region. The group “Sport is the norm of life in Karelia” published the news that the guys will return home with a victory and gold medals.
Our republic was represented by sambists of the Olympic Reserve Sports School No. 5 of Petrozavodsk. And the coaches of the sports school have a new reason to be proud, because their pupils Rostislav Nichaev and Ivan Koroblev became the best in their categories.
Earlier we talked about the sporting successes of Rashad Muradov, a native of Karelia, who competed in the Russian national team at the European Championship. Despite strong competition, the athlete managed to win a bronze medal.
