Epoznan: Russian military suppressed GPS signal in Poland
[ad_1]
Portal of the Polish city of Poznan Epoznan.pl reports According to eyewitnesses, the GPS signal was suppressed in most of Poland from the border with Germany to the border with Belarus.
The website gpsjam.org, which tracks GPS signals, has marked in red on its map most of the Polish territory where interference was observed.
The report states that this is not the first time in recent days that a serious failure of the GPS signal has occurred. John Wiseman, who runs the website gpsjam.org, suggested that given similar problems in Finland and Estonia, this could be a “deliberate attempt at jamming.”
At the same time, the Polish portal Cyberdefence24.pl believes that Russian electronic suppression systems located in the Kaliningrad region can operate in this way.
The message does not provide any evidence for this version.
