Russian President Vladimir Putin signed a decree on the allocation of funds for the legal protection of foreign real estate of the Russian Federation, which previously belonged to the Russian Empire and the USSR outside the country.
According to the decree, the Federal State Unitary Enterprise “Enterprise for Property Management Abroad” of the Administration of the President of the Russian Federation becomes the recipient of a subsidy from the federal budget. These funds are intended to financially support expenses associated with the search for real estate of the Russian Federation, the former Russian Empire and the former USSR abroad. This includes the registration of the rights of the Russian Federation to existing federal real estate, as well as the protection of legal interests in relation to the found real estate.
