The commander of the Airbus A320 crew, who landed the aircraft in a wheat field near Novosibirsk, was asked to write a letter of resignation from the airline of his own free will.

Commander Sergei Belov himself told MK about this. The co-pilot Eduard Semenov was asked to write the same statement.
