The Ministry of Justice gave a judicial justification for refusing to exclude Slepakov from the register of foreign agents
Zamoskvoretsky District Court of Moscow upheld the decision of the Ministry of Justice of the Russian Federation to include a comedian Slepakov’s seeds in the register of foreign agents, as he recognized as a political activity the dissemination of opinions on the decisions of the authorities. This was announced to TASS in the Ministry of Justice, referring to the reasoning decision of the court.
The decision says that the individual Slepakov received “support from a foreign source” and “distributed <...> negative opinions about a special military operation <...> and also carried out political activities in the form of dissemination of opinions”.
In view of the foregoing, the court considered that the Ministry of Justice, by entering Slepakov into the register of foreign agents, acted legally. The court also considered untenable the plaintiff’s arguments that the officials did not notify him of the decision.
