Governor of the Belgorod Region Vyacheslav Gladkov said that residents of the region’s border areas resettled due to regular shelling would receive two one-time payments. The decision was made following a discussion with Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin.
“Today he confirmed that we can talk about a solution: each resident of the resettled municipalities will receive two one-time payments. The amounts and dates of payments, I hope, will tell you tomorrow or the day after tomorrow,” Mr. Gladkov wrote in his Telegram channel.
Payments will be received by residents of the settlements of Belgorod, Valuysky, Volokonovsky, Graivoronsky, Krasnoyaruzhsky, Shebekinsky districts.
Today at an operational meeting, Vyacheslav Gladkov said that the authorities would keep the salaries of municipal employees and employees of budgetary institutions of the enterprises of the Shebekinsky district, from where people are taken out. In addition, the authorities agreed with the Central Bank, providing credit holidays to evacuated residents of border areas.
In recent weeks, shelling has intensified in the region of the Belgorod region bordering Ukraine. Residents are evacuated to TAPs, children are taken to summer camps in the regions of Russia. There are more than 4,000 people in TAPs.
