In Graivoron, Belgorod Region, after the shelling, work has been completed to restore 96 houses out of 117 damaged, informed in his Telegram channel, the governor of the region Vyacheslav Gladkov.
“In the near future, we are completing work on the restoration of Grayvoron – out of 117 damaged houses, work has been fully completed in 96. A huge amount of work was done by consolidating a large number of construction teams removed from many objects from all over the region,” he said.
According to him, in Kozinka, the destruction is on a larger scale – 177 houses were damaged, seven of which cannot be restored. Construction brigades are starting work now, because they could not enter the village due to massive shelling, which continues now. Gladkov noted that, first of all, the houses, where people have already returned, will be restored. “I will definitely try to come and see the dynamics of restoration work,” the governor added.
On May 22, a Ukrainian sabotage and reconnaissance group (DRG) entered the territory of Russia through the Kozinka international checkpoint in the Belgorod region. During the counter-terrorist operation (the CTO regime was introduced in the region later that day), the enemy was blocked and defeated by air and artillery strikes, as well as by the active actions of border guards, Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu reported. After the head of the Grayvoron city district Gennady Bondarev informedthat as a result of the attack of the DRG of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on the Belgorod region, more than 500 houses and shops were damaged. Houses in the village of Kozinka suffered the most, Bondarev added.
In the Belgorod region, a high (“yellow”) level of terrorist danger is indefinitely. Since October 19, 2022, by decree of Russian President Vladimir Putin, the average level of response has been set in the region. The same regime operates in seven other regions – Crimea, Sevastopol, Krasnodar Territory, Kursk, Voronezh, Bryansk and Rostov regions.
