9 thousand Kazan residents registered for the Russian Ski Track

More than 9 thousand residents of Kazan have signed up to participate in the “Ski Track of Russia”, which will be held at five sites in the capital of Tatarstan on February 10. Those wishing to become participants in the mass start can sign up at State Services until February 9. Before going to the start line, participants will be required to provide a medical certificate.
Family races of 1 km dedicated to the Year of the Family will be organized at all venues in Kazan. Professional athletes are offered distances of 2, 5 or 10 km; the competition will take place at the Mirny ski and biathlon complex.
Residents of the Vakhitovsky and Privolzhsky districts are invited to participate in the Gorkinsko-Ometyevsky forest. A ski track for residents of the Aviastroitelny and Novo-Savinovsky districts is being prepared on the floodplain of the Kazanka River along Gavrilova Street. Residents of the Kirov and Moskovsky districts are welcome at the Lokomotiv stadium, and residents of the Sovetsky district – at Lake Komsomolskoye.
Separate races will be organized for schoolchildren, which will take place on the territory of educational institutions.
In addition, performances by creative groups and entertainment events will be organized at all venues.
