The governor of the Belgorod region, Vyacheslav Gladkov, said that 70 residents of Belgorod who were injured during the shelling of the city on December 30 are still in medical institutions. According to him, 25 of them are being treated in federal clinics.

“There are our residents who are in serious condition. All necessary assistance is provided. We hope that they will recover quickly and return to their family and friends,” wrote Vyacheslav Gladkov in his Telegram channel.

In addition, Mr. Gladkov said that eight victims of yesterday’s shelling were released home from medical institutions, three more remain in hospitals.

On January 2, Mr. Gladkov reported that the missile siren sounded four times in the city. As a result of the shelling on January 2, one person was killed and 11 were injured. Destruction was recorded in 53 households, six apartments and seven business entities. In addition, 37 cars and one bus were damaged.

On December 30, the center of Belgorod came under rocket fire. 25 people were killed, including five children, and 108 Belgorod residents were injured.
