The proportion of Russians who are ready to wear medical masks in public places if they have symptoms of a cold has increased from 15% before the coronavirus pandemic to 70%, a study by the NAFI analytical center showed.
Previously, the vast majority of respondents, going out with a cold, never used personal protective equipment or did it rarely, from time to time. The reasons for this could be very different, from disbelief in the effectiveness of this measure to unwillingness to look bad.
