The Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) fired at least 650 shells on the territory of the Belgorod region per day, follows from the report, published Governor of the region Vyacheslav Gladkov in the Telegram channel.
In particular, 611 shells were fired at the Shebekinsky urban district, 185 of them were recorded in Novaya Tavolzhanka. As a result, the roof of an apartment building was damaged, the central square and a cultural institution were also damaged. Information about the victims is not specified.
As a result of the work of Russian air defense in the village of Razumnoye, one of the shell fragments fell on a section of the road. One man was injured, he is now in the hospital, Gladkov said.

The shelling of the Belgorod region has intensified in recent days. In this regard, the authorities announced the evacuation of children from the Shebekinsky and Grayvoronsky districts. On June 1, Gladkov suggested that in the event of an “urgent evacuation” of residents, armored vehicles should be used.
In the Belgorod region, the “yellow” level of terrorist danger is indefinitely valid. Also, from October 19, 2022, by decree of the President of the Russian Federation, a medium-level response regime was introduced in the region.
