The Bali Sun, referring to the Bali immigration service, reported that 213 foreigners were deported from the Indonesian island in eight months of this year. It is specified that 59 of them are citizens of Russia.
“Many of the deported citizens violated the rules of the carriage,” – said the head of the Bali Regional Office of the Ministry of Human Rights of Indonesia Angyat Napitupulu.
The publication added that the increased number of deportations will serve as a reminder to foreign nationals who are in Bali to abide by local laws.
According to Napitupulu, out of 213 foreigners expelled from the country, there were citizens of 45 countries. In particular, 59 came from the Russian Federation, 14 from the United States of America, and 13 from the UK.
