Former WBA champion Alexander Povetkin said that he is ready to resume his career and have several fights. However, he noted that doctors recommended that he not return to the ring.
“I’m ready to fight, and more than one. I would like to go out with White again. I would really like to do a fight with him. If the chance arose, I would be happy,” said Alexander Povetkin in an interview “Match TV”.
44-year-old Alexander Povetkin retired from sports in 2021. He later said that the condition of his blood vessels and vision had deteriorated significantly after suffering from COVID-19. The athlete had his last fight with Briton Dillian Whyte.
