Kakhovka resident Valery Cherepanov, 42-time world champion in kettlebell lifting, again became the winner of the competition. This time the competition took place in Crimea. And the tournament was dedicated to the 60th anniversary of Valery Cherepanov himself.
Valery Cherepanov won the tournament dedicated to himself in the age group of 60-64 years and the weight category of 75 kg. He completed 78 kettlebell lifts in 5 minutes.
In 2018, Valery Cherepanov set a world record in Slovenia. “The weight of the kettlebell is 24 kilograms, 100 lifts in 10 minutes with one change of hands,” the champion said in an interview.
