Governor of the Moscow region Andrei Vorobyov said in Telegram channelthat 410 children and mothers with disabled children evacuated from the Belgorod region will be accommodated in the region. Earlier, the governor of the Belgorod region, Vyacheslav Gladkov, announced the evacuation of 9 thousand children from the region due to “growing tension.”

“Everyone knows what is happening in Belgorod now. We cannot stand aside,” wrote Mr. Vorobiev. He said that children’s camps are already being prepared in the Moscow region to accommodate refugees.

Today, March 19, Vyacheslav Gladkov announced the evacuation of 9 thousand children from the Belgorod region. According to him, on March 22, 1.2 thousand children will leave for Penza, Tambov and Kaluga. Then they will be transported to the Stavropol Territory. The governor noted that the decision to mass evacuate children was made due to the difficult situation in the region, which was increasingly coming under fire from Ukraine. Over the past week, he said, 16 civilians were killed in the region and another 98 were wounded.
