3,500 people came to the start of the “Cross of Nations” in Kaluga

On Saturday, September 16, Kaluga hosted the All-Russian Running Day “Cross of Nations – 2023”. This year, 3,500 people took to the start line, reports the regional Ministry of Sports.
“The All-Russian running day “Cross of Nations” brought together 3,500 participants. Kaluga residents ran distances along Kirova Street – from 500 meters to 8 km. Anyone could take part,” the ministry said.
Both professionals and amateur runners took to the starts. Kindergartens, schools, sports organizations, and enterprises fled. The race was also organized for people with disabilities.
Based on the results, the winners and prize-winners of the “red group” were awarded. The youngest cross-country participants were noted – Sofia Chibakova and Stepan Romensky, as well as the oldest – Tamara Ermakova and Vladimir Kulkov.
