330 children from the Belgorod region will come to the Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous Okrug; in Yamal they will continue their education in local schools. The decision on this was made by regional governors Dmitry Artyukhov and Vyacheslav Gladkov, reported in the press service of the government of the Yamal-Nenets Autonomous Okrug. Belgorod children will begin to come to the Yamal-Nenets Autonomous Okrug from March 28-29. Training and leisure activities will be organized for them in Yamal.
According to Dmitry Artyukhov, the children’s move to the Yamal-Nenets Autonomous Okrug is due to the fact that the Belgorod region is subject to systematic shelling by the Ukrainian Armed Forces. Special charter flights are organized to transport children.
According to the district government, visitors will be accommodated at the Yamal Multidisciplinary College (YMC) and the sanatorium-forest school in Salekhard, the YMC branch in Labytnangi and at the center of spiritual and moral education in Noyabrsk. In the premises, which are guarded around the clock, children will be provided with food and places to sleep and rest. According to Dmitry Artyukhov, if necessary, children will receive medical care in hospitals in the region. The head of the Yamal-Nenets Autonomous Okrug instructed the mayors to provide children with everything they need.
