The Bezhitsa sports and recreation complex in Bryansk, which celebrated its Opening Day on October 19, will become a multifunctional institution. Up to 250 people will be able to train here at the same time, the press service of the city administration reported.
Let us remind you that the President of the Russian Federation took part in the opening ceremony of the sports complex. The head of state attended the significant event via video link. The President was greeted by Governor Alexander Bogomaz and Honored Master of Sports of Russia, nine-time world Sambo champion Artyom Osipenko and dozens of students from Bryansk sports schools.
In the three-story building, two swimming pools are available to visitors, as well as various sections. Bryansk residents will learn mini-football, volleyball, basketball, aerobics and fitness. A gym and sauna are available.
The mayor’s office is confident that FOC will become popular among the population. It is enough to pay attention to the increasing number of people who want to go swimming. For example, SSHOR “Dolphin” has 250 people, and in total there are five thousand in the region. In addition, city and regional level competitions can be organized in the new sports complex.
However, Bryansk residents have long been waiting for the opening of this sports and recreation complex. The long-suffering construction of the sports facility began in November 2019. Since then, a number of events have occurred that influenced its completion. Now, with the opening of “Bezhitsa”, each district of the regional center has its own indoor swimming pool for mass visits.
