Human activity influences the Earth’s temperature. In particular, the combustion of fuel increases the volume of greenhouse gases. The planet’s high temperatures change the normal climate and lead to droughts, floods, forest fires, and storms.
2023 was the warmest year since records were taken. In particular, temperature records were broken in June, July, August, September, October and November. In 2023, the Earth’s temperature increased by about 1.4 degrees compared to the pre-industrial period. In 2024, scientists predict that this figure will be 1.3-1.6 degrees.
