“1C-Bitrix” denied information about working with companies that leaked personal data to the Internet. About this press service of “1C-Bitrix” reported TASS.
The companies Auchan, Bukvoed, Leroy Merlin, Eat at Home and Gloria Jeans do not work on systems from 1C-Bitrix. At the same time, CMS customers are informed of the need to update the security software.
Alexey Pavlov, Business Development Director of the Solar JSOC Center for Counteracting Cyber Attacks of RTK-Solar suggestedthat hackers could get the corporate databases of Russian companies published in June through the web servers of the web project content management system (CMS) from 1C-Bitrix that had previously become publicly available.
1C-Bitrix previously stated that one of the reasons for the problems with the cybersecurity of companies is the lack of scheduled regular updates of the entire critical infrastructure of a web project. The company claims that all vulnerabilities were eliminated a few months ago.
Merged customer bases of Auchan, Your House and Gloria Jeans networks appeared June 7th. The Auchan database contains 7.8 million rows, including 7.7 million unique phone numbers and 4.7 million unique email addresses.
