17 kindergartens were built in the Pskov region thanks to the national project “Demography” over the past 5 years. Governor Mikhail Vedernikov announced this in his Telegram channel.
New preschool institutions have appeared in Pskov, the Pskov region and Velikiye Luki. Now more than 2.5 thousand children attend them. The gardens are equipped with modern furniture and everything necessary for a comfortable stay for children. Thus, preschool education in the Pskov region has become 100% accessible.
In addition, 12 FOCOTs and sites for training GTO standards have been created in the region. Among sports grounds there is the first “smart” one. It is located in the village of Solovyi, Pskov region. This is a mini-stadium with QR codes through which you can get information on how to properly use the exercise equipment and build an individual workout. Two more such sites are being built in Pskov and Ostrov.
“Today in the Pskov region 46.5% of residents go in for sports. We strive to achieve a result of 70% by 2030,” added Mikhail Vedernikov.
