1,450 residents of northern France were left without electricity due to floods
The prefecture of the Pas-de-Calais department in northern France reported that severe flooding in the region left 1,450 customers without electricity.
About 2,100 residents of some communities faced restrictions on their water use after runoff entered the catchment area.
120 rescue workers were sent to the region to support local services.
