14% of Russians are nostalgic for advertising with the slogan “The holiday is coming to us”

End-to-end analytics, call tracking and advertising management service Calltouch found out how Russians relate to New Year’s advertising, transmits “Gazeta.Ru”.
According to the study, every second resident of Russia, that is, more than 50%, does not have good feelings for advertising with the theme of the New Year holidays. Another 30% of Russians get annoyed at the sight of any holiday advertisement, about the same number of people complain that there are too many advertisements. Only 16.5% of compatriots are absolutely indifferent to such advertising.
Analysts have found that Russians lack “soulfulness and optimism” in New Year’s advertising.
At the same time, 14% of respondents said they miss Coca-Cola’s legendary New Year’s advertisement “The Holiday is Coming”. 14.4% of Russians answered that modern advertising lacks humor, 13% of respondents noted the absence of old New Year’s songs. Approximately another 13% of people would like to see the relevance of pressing issues in pre-holiday advertising.
After all, 28% of respondents this year have no time at all to talk about New Year’s advertising.
