The Bryansk Palace of Martial Arts named after Artem Osipenko has become the venue for the Open Sambo Tournament, regional media report.
The competition, which brought together 120 participants from the Bryansk, Smolensk and Kaluga regions, was dedicated to the memory of the dead servicemen of the National Guard and law enforcement agencies.
Boys and girls born in 2007-2009 fought for the title of the strongest. The program consisted of nine weight categories, so there were many winners. Champions were awarded with cups, medals and diplomas.
It is worth noting that the relatives of the heroes who died in the line of military duty took part in the solemn opening ceremony of the tournament. The organizer of the event was the department of the Russian Guard in the Bryansk region.
