12 athletes from Kaluga received medals from the Kickboxing Championship of the Central Federal District. The competitions were held in Yaroslavl, this was reported on Monday, February 27, by the regional Ministry of Sports on its VKontakte page.
It is known that more than 400 kickboxers from 14 regions of Russia competed for the awards.
This sport includes different types of martial arts: karate, wushu, taekwondo, Thai and English boxing. Translated into Russian, “kickboxing” means “fight with hands and feet.”
It is noted that representatives of the Kaluga region won 4 “gold”, 2 “silver” and 6 “bronze” medals.
It is known that the “gold” was received by: Vsevolod Kurokhtin, Anna Malinkina, Elena Chernenko and Andrey Makarov.
“Silver” was in the hands of Artyom Gogishvili and Alexandra Malinkina.
And the “bronze” was taken by: Konstantin Kashlev, Ksenia Ganfeld, Elizaveta Glukhova, Andrey Arkhipov, Roman Papuashvili and Mikhail Vasyukov.
