Telegram channel “112” revealed the details of the detention of the chief IT specialist of the FCS of Russia.
As noted, together with the head of the information and technical customs department, Dmitry Vasilyev, his accomplice, an entrepreneur, was detained. According to the channel, the amount of the bribe amounted to 25 million rubles. It is specified that this is only one episode, in which the whole system of obtaining state orders in the Federal Customs Service was revealed.
“112” emphasizes that the fraudulent scheme was standard – contractors during the implementation of state contracts were people from a close circle of acting customs officers – from relatives and ex-employees of the department. For obtaining government contracts, merchants gave bribes to high-ranking customs officers as kickbacks.
