10% of Russians name their gadgets and devices

During the onlinesurvey, conducted by Kaspersky Lab, a company that produces products for digital security, it turned out that every tenth Russian gives names to his home devices – both complex and not very. The most surprising thing is that most often in the Russian Federation, robot vacuum cleaners receive nicknames from their owners.
But this is not the most surprising. Many of our fellow citizens “treat home devices as if they were sentient beings.” That is, they are asked to start working again when they break. So, by the way, according to the survey, 42% of adult normal Russians do it.
Of all those who talk to gadgets and devices, 68% are talking to their smartphones. 54% communicate with laptops, 45%, not surprisingly, with TVs.
Surprisingly, 22% of respondents, as company employees found out, talk with electric kettles and coffee machines, and only 16% with robotic vacuum cleaners.
