Zyuganov said that he advised Putin on the elections at the “Stalinist” dacha

The leader of the Communist Party of the Russian Federation Gennady Zyuganov acted as a consultant to the Russian President on the elections. He spoke about this at a press conference, saying that their meeting took place at the “Stalinist” dacha and lasted “almost the whole day.”
Recalling the coming to power of the current head of state, Zyuganov noted that he “felt that he needed to know the current situation well.”
“He came to our headquarters when the elections were basically over and asked for advice. I had the right to this because I worked since the times of Kosygin and Brezhnev,” said Gennady Zyuganov.
However, he did not specify which specific elections he was talking about. The leader of the Communist Party added that in his opinion, Putin “decided a lot and tried to implement it.”
According to Zyuganov, he sees the formation of a left-wing patriotic government ahead – it will “help pull the country out.”
Let us remind you that Russian presidential elections will be held in March 2024. They will take place within three days – from March 15 to 17.
Previously acting head of state Vladimir Putin announced his intentions to participate in the elections.
