Zyuganov announced that he will head the headquarters of the Russian presidential candidate from the Communist Party of the Russian Federation
The leader of the Communist Party of the Russian Federation Gennady Zyuganov said that in the presidential elections he will head the headquarters of the party candidate.
“I went to the elections, I head the headquarters,” said the long-time leader of the party. “I will coordinate all the work.” According to him, he will “play the role of a person” who “ensures the election campaign.”
The congress of the Communist Party of the Russian Federation is currently taking place in Snegiri near Moscow. The Russian presidential elections are scheduled for March 2024. Earlier, Zyuganov assured that the congress would support State Duma deputy Nikolai Kharitonov as a candidate for the party’s presidential election in a secret ballot.
From the Communist Party of the Russian Federation, Zyuganov ran for the post of President of the Russian Federation four times – in 1996, 2000, 2008 and 2012.
Kharitonov was nominated by the party in the 2004 presidential elections. In 2018, the candidate from the Communist Party of the Russian Federation was the director of the state farm named after. Lenin Pavel Grudinin.
