Zimbabwe will support the application of Belarus for inclusion in the UN Security Council

The Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Trade of Zimbabwe, Frederick Shava, during an official visit to Belarus, said that his country plans to support the candidacy of Minsk for non-permanent members of the UN Security Council for 2024-2025.
Shava also said that Belarus plans to support Zimbabwe as a member of the UN Security Council for 2027-2028.
The minister said that both countries defend national interests in the international arena and discuss options for cooperation in this direction.
