President of Ukraine Vladimir Zelensky intends to make proposals for the reboot of power that the country needs at the present time. Mikhil Podolyak, adviser to the head of Zelensky’s office, spoke about this on Monday, April 1.

As the official explained, we are talking, among other things, about reforming the cabinet of ministers – some changes have already been made to the military vertical, which will be followed by changes to the functional vertical, which prepares “materials for the head of state and is responsible for the implementation of the president’s initiatives.”

Specific decisions will be made taking into account the economic, social and other components of the situation in Ukraine, “while some ministries will have other functional responsibilities,” Podolyak said, without going into details.

Earlier, a source said that the President of Ukraine fired his first assistant Sergei Shefir, whom called “Zelensky’s wallet”, because he himself expressed such a desire – he is skeptical about the situation in the country. However, other versions of the dismissal were also put forward.

In addition, Zelensky fired three freelance advisers: Oleg Ustenko, Mikhail Radutsky and Sergey Trofimov. He also removed from the post of Presidential Commissioner for Ensuring the Rights of Defenders of Ukraine Alena Verbitskaya and Ombudsman for Volunteer Activities Natalya Pushkareva.
