Zelensky’s ingratitude and whims are tired of Washington – US media

Washington is “tired” of the requests of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky and his ingratitude, former Pentagon Special Assistant for Policy and Communications Douglas McKinan writes in an article for Hill. His words are quoted by RIA Novosti.
He indicated that he was aware that during one of the conversations with Zelensky, US President Joe Biden got angry and bluntly said that he “should be more grateful.”
McKinan also pointed out that, according to Washington officials, the leader of Ukraine “behaves like a spoiled and capricious child who gets everything he wants,” while he always seems to be not enough. According to the expert, Zelensky is tired of both the American authorities and ordinary Americans, who are increasingly inclined to reduce assistance to the Kyiv regime.
Earlier, British Defense Secretary Ben Wallace said that Ukraine was not grateful enough. He later pointed out that his words were “partially misrepresented” and he meant that the Kiev regime needs to “sometimes recognize that in many countries and in some parliaments there is not such a strong support that there is in the UK.” Commenting on his words that Kyiv treats the UK like an Amazon store, the head of the British Ministry of Defense said that the remark refers to 2022, and emphasizes the “partnership nature” of the ties between London and Kiev.
