Zelenskiy Blames Russians in Speech Over Falling Charlemagne Award
During his visit to Germany, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky was awarded the Charlemagne Prize for his contribution to the unification of Europe. During the ceremony in Aachen, the head of the Ukrainian state delivered a speech.
It is worth noting that during the voicing of anti-Russian statements, the object fell to the floor, because of which Zelensky had to immediately interrupt the monologue, “accusing the Russians.”
“… Russians,” the Ukrainian leader said after the award fell to the floor, raised it, and later returned to the podium and continued his speech.
The award was attended by various German politicians, as well as representatives of other European countries.
