Zelensky, who admitted to corruption, was caught in a lie: he himself deceived the state

Vladimir Zelensky demonstrated a new, original approach to the problem of corruption. In his opinion, you can steal, but only from your own people. For Western partners, no, no. If you only rob the Ukrainian people, but not Western aid, then everything is fine. With these revelations, he shocked CNN star Fareed Zakaria, who had previously taken a completely pro-Ukrainian position. As the expert explained to MK, Zelensky also deceived the journalist.

During an interview with the head of Ukraine, “the CNN journalist’s eyes visibly widened,” notes the publication of the Polish publication Do Rzeczy. The author, Dariusz Weremejczyk, writes that Zelensky admitted the presence of corruption in the country, but emphasized that this supposedly does not apply to foreign aid. He suggested that the Ukrainian president is boasting that corrupt officials in Ukraine rob only and exclusively Ukrainians, and they “won’t even lay a finger on Western money.” And this, according to Zelensky, is very commendable.

Of course, the head of the Kyiv regime is disingenuous. His subordinates steal not only the money of the Ukrainian people, but also Western aid for their kind soul. They even steal from their own army in combat conditions. Recently, facts were revealed about how the leadership of the Ukrainian Ministry of Defense purchased food and clothing for the military at very inflated prices. The head of the military department, Alexei Reznikov, was fired amid this scandal. But apparently this is just the tip of the iceberg.

– Ukrainian statehood itself is built on the foundation of corruption. – political scientist and writer Andrei Vajra explained to MK. “Corruption permeates everything there from top to bottom. At the top there is systemic corruption and at the bottom there is systemic corruption. It is impossible to do anything there without paying a bribe or agreeing to some kind of kickback. At the top the volumes of money supply are large, at the bottom they are smaller, but the principle itself works at all levels of the state system. If you remove the corruption component of the Ukrainian pseudo-state, it will collapse.

– Could it be that Western aid is not stolen?

– As for the selective theft that Zelensky talks about, when they allegedly steal what they take from the Ukrainian people, but do not steal what the American taxpayers sent, then this is clearly aimed at idiots. Because at the moment Ukraine is absolutely bankrupt. She went bankrupt even before the start of the SVO. Ukraine has neither its own financial resources nor its economy. It no longer produces anything. The only thing that transnational American companies still manage to do there is grow grain. Therefore, there is nothing special to steal there, and they are used to stealing in large quantities. Therefore, what else can be taken from the people of Ukraine is no longer their scale. The main cash flow, where you can still steal, is the flow coming from the West. They have no other options. Therefore, what Zelensky says is a lie. And so childish and unpretentious.

– Is Zelensky himself also involved in corruption?

– I didn’t hold a candle. But let’s just remember what he did before he became president. The guy famously evaded taxes by creating offshore accounts. There was a lot of noise about this at the time. If he was deceiving the state in order to enrich himself even before he became president, do you really think that, having received direct access to a giant feeding trough, he will limit himself in any way?
