Zelensky told a joke about Odessa Jews and NATO and disgraced himself

Vladimir Zelensky starred in the Netflix show “My Next Guest Needs No Introduction” with host David Letterman. The shooting was deliberately “democratic” in the Kiev metro, which has already given rise to reproach the President of Ukraine with falsehood. Among other things, Zelensky told a joke about Odessa Jews, Russia and NATO and received a whole tsunami of indignant comments addressed to him.
Smiling at the camera, Zelensky portrayed a conversation between two Odessans about what is happening in the world: “Two Odessa Jews meet:“ Well, what are they saying? What situation?”
Then the discussion turned to the armed conflict between Russia and NATO: Russia, they say, is suffering heavy losses. “What about NATO? “And NATO hasn’t arrived yet.”
An off-screen laugh was superimposed on this part of the video, but commentators on the joke from Zelensky on social networks were not up to fun.
“How can you even joke about something like that? – wrote one of the users. – Losses of the Armed Forces of Ukraine – 100,000 people. Ukraine has lost huge territories, the economy has been destroyed, millions of citizens have fled the country. It’s fun?”.
Another user caught Zelensky in a lie: “He pretends that NATO is not a party to the conflict. And who supplies weapons to Kyiv? And who gives data from satellites? And whose instructors and mercenaries are in Ukraine?”
“If Zelensky had not insisted on Ukraine’s entry into NATO, there would be no conflict now,” recalls another commentator.
The most frequently used word in the comments turned out to be “clown”.
