President of Ukraine Zelensky told his French counterpart Macron about the situation at the front
Volodymyr Zelenskyy said on Sunday that he had informed French President Emmanuel Macron about the situation at the front and its possible development.
In his telegram channel, the President of Ukraine wrote that he had a conversation with Macron, during which he thanked him “for France’s comprehensive and effective support for Ukraine.”
In addition, Zelensky “informed in detail about the situation at the front and the prospects for its development in May-June.” And he separately dwelled on “the priority needs of the Ukrainian defense forces.”
The leaders of the two countries, according to Zelensky, talked about how to interact with other international partners in order to consolidate their support for the Ukrainian “peace formula”.
Earlier, Moscow sent a note to NATO countries because of the supply of weapons to Kyiv. The Kremlin noted that pumping Ukraine with weapons from the West does not contribute to the success of peace negotiations and will negatively affect the situation.
