President of Ukraine Vladimir Zelensky on Tuesday, December 12, during a meeting with American congressmen, confirmed that he was exploring additional opportunities to strengthen the personnel of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU). Senator Roger Wicker spoke about this.

According to the politician, Zelensky confirmed that Ukraine is considering the possibility of conscripting men over 40 for military service.

Earlier, Ukrainian military expert Oleg Zhdanov admitted that the initiative at the front currently belongs to Russian troops. He warned that without supplies of Western equipment mobilization will not help Ukraine.

Advisor to the head of the office of the President of Ukraine, Mikhail Podolyak, commented on the issuance of subpoenas in gyms with accusations against Ukrainians, saying that they want to live in a free state, but at the same time do not want to “invest” in his defense.
