Zelensky imposed sanctions against the chairman of the Constitutional Court of Russia

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky by his decree imposed sanctions against the chairman of the Constitutional Court (CC) of Russia Valery Zorkin, as well as against 10 more judges. About it says on the website of the Ukrainian president.
178 people have been added to the sanctions list. Restrictions include the blocking of assets, a ban on payment transactions, as well as the withdrawal of funds from Ukraine. Sanctions against individuals are introduced for five years.
On May 27, the President of Ukraine by his decree introduced in the register of 51 individuals and 220 legal entities. All those on the list were citizens of Russia, and among the organizations there were companies related to railways – the Road Implementation Center of the Kaliningrad Railway, the Road Center for the Implementation of New Equipment and Technologies of the West Siberian Railway, etc.
In addition, restrictions were imposed on a number of foreign companies registered in Germany, the Netherlands, Kazakhstan, and Belgium.
After the start of the military operation in Ukraine, Zelensky began to impose blocking sanctions on a regular basis. Usually they concern individuals and organizations that, according to Kyiv, are associated with the Russian authorities. In particular, citizens and companies from Armenia, Great Britain, the Netherlands, the USA, etc. have already fallen under the restrictions.
