Zelensky: the Ukrainian Armed Forces’ counteroffensive plan was on the Kremlin’s table even before the start
The plan for a summer counteroffensive in 2023 was already known to the Russian side even before the start of offensive operations. This statement was made by President of Ukraine Vladimir Zelensky during the press conference “Ukraine. Year 2024”.
“Our counteroffensive plan last year was on the table in the Kremlin before the start of this offensive. So the fewer people who know our plans, the faster we will win,” said the head of the Ukrainian state.
According to him, the military command has a “fist” to carry out a counteroffensive, in which four brigades have not been able to wait for Western help, which is still not available. As a result, they did not take part in these actions.
Let us remind you that the counter-offensive of the Ukrainian Armed Forces began on June 4. For all this time, Kyiv has failed to achieve strategic results. Instead, Ukraine suffered huge losses in personnel and military equipment, including Western ones.
