Zelensky fired Kizim, Ukrainian ambassador to Belarus
President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky signed a decree dismissing Igor Kizim from the post of Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Ukraine to Belarus.
The text of the document was published on Zelensky’s website, the reason for this decision is unknown.
Kizim served as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Ukraine to Belarus for more than six years – since February 20, 2017, when he was appointed to this diplomatic position by the then President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko.
