Zelensky did not know about the Russian-American border in the Bering Strait

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky at a press conference dedicated to the anniversary of the start of a special military operation said that the United States and Russia supposedly do not have a common border.
This phrase was said in the context that not a single country in the world, with the exception of the United States, could have survived in the event of a conflict with Russia without outside military and financial assistance. But the United States, according to Zelensky, does not have a common border with the Russian Federation, and therefore it does not threaten them.
In fact, the US and Russia share a common border. It runs along the Bering Strait, between the peninsulas of Chukotka and Alaska.
