Zelensky called the reason for the refusal to sit down at the negotiating table with Putin

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky, in an exclusive interview with the French TV channel LCI, answered the question of why he constantly declares that he is not going to negotiate with Russian leader Vladimir Putin.
Zelensky noted that there are countries that call for negotiations between Ukraine and Russia, but he himself is not ready to take such a step now. The Ukrainian president explained this by saying that at the moment Kyiv and Moscow have nothing to discuss because of their different views on the conflict.
“Our vision is completely different,” Zelensky said, referring to the possibility of sitting at the negotiating table with Vladimir Putin. According to the Ukrainian president, Vladimir Putin wants a world that matches “his vision of things.”
Zelensky also spoke skeptically about the initiative of French President Emmanuel Macron to become mediators in a dialogue with Russia.
“I don’t think Macron’s talks with Putin will bring results,” he said.
Recall that earlier Vladimir Putin said that Russia is always open to negotiations on Ukraine, and if Kyiv matures, the mediation efforts of those who offer them will be in demand.
