President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky named special goals for the country’s special services. This happened in the course of his next appeal.
As it turned out, we are talking about the Russian military, allegedly shelling the Zaporozhye Nuclear Power Plant (ZNPP). According to the Ukrainian leader, every soldier who “shells a nuclear power plant or uses it as a cover” becomes a “special target” for Ukrainian intelligence and special services agents.
Zelensky also pointed out that the Russian Federation could use the Zaporozhye nuclear power plant for “nuclear blackmail”.
Prior to this, the Director General of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) Rafael Grossi, speaking at a meeting of the UN Security Council, recognized the need to intensify work on preparing the trip of IAEA experts to the Zaporozhye NPP.
Meanwhile, earlier the Russian Federation called absurd allegations that Russia allegedly conducts shelling of nuclear power plants. It was noted that this is done by the Armed Forces of Ukraine. As Russian permanent representative to the UN Vasily Nebenzya said, the UAF strikes on nuclear facilities, such as the Zaporizhzhya nuclear power plant, “push the world to the brink of a nuclear catastrophe.”
